摘要: Abstract FePd thin-film samples with different perpendicular magnetic anisotropies have been studied force microscopy (MFM), micromagnetic calculations and soft x-ray resonant scattering (SXRMS). The competition between anisotropy (PMA) shape leads to the formation of highly ordered stripe domain patterns a magnetization component film plane. stripes period ∼100 nm, which are seen in MFM images can be modeled by calculations, give rise peaks diffraction pattern. Closure domains occur low medium PMA, while high PMA inhibits their formation. in-plane closure is not observable MFM. In presence interference amplitudes SXRMS from magnetized gives circular dichroism transverse geometry, where plane along stripes. We also recorded speckle pattern an 8 μm wire using coherent x-rays CCD detection. A degree coherence was obtained as evidenced observed intensity fluctuations. principle provide information about local disorder domains.
