Estimation of the refractive index and dielectric constants of magnesium phthalocyanine thin films from its optical studies

摘要: Abstract Magnesium phthalocyanine thin films are prepared at room temperature by vacuum sublimation . The optical absorption and reflectance spectra of the studied. co-efficient α, extinction κ, directly found from spectral data. Graph α2 vs. hν is plotted band gap material calculated. Using α refractive index n, real imaginary parts dielectric constant viz. e1 e2 also determined.
