摘要: Smart Grid is the term used for next generation power grid which aims to minimize environmental impact, enhance markets, improve reliability and service, reduce costs efficiency. In order achieve these goals, relies on a two-way information exchange infrastructure made possible by communication networks. The initial step will be deployment of smart metering between meters control centre, can seen as key enabler future applications built. IEC 61850 international standard protocol defined ensure interoperability within Substation Automation System (SAS) standardizing abstract data models services support SAS communications. As scope extended beyond substation boundary, it has potential communication. IEC are mapped Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS). MMS OSI than run over TCP/IP or networks IEC services. Currently uses Ethernet layer 2 protocol. However, when applying infrastructure, not favourable because its physical limitations (e.g., wired technology) high installation costs. Long Term Evolution (LTE), fourth-generation (4G) cellular standard, seems more suitable with advanced technologies provide high-capacity, low-latency, secure reliable data-packet switched network. The objective this research integrate LTE communications central meter management system. includes literature study protocol, focusing requirements communication, simulation-based performance evaluation traffic network.
