摘要: Risk factors for heterosexual HIV transmission are not fully understood. In fact, a proportion of people with sexual exposure to remain uninfected despite multiple and continuous intercourse HIV-infected partners. this work, we have analyzed those virologic parameters potentially involved in the through contact. Thirty-eight couples unprotected were included. occurred 10 38 couples. No differences clinical characteristics, time, practices, CD4 counts, or polymorphism CCR5 found between transmitter nontransmitter groups. contrast, data different both groups; median values viral load 21.139 5.484 RNA copies/ml plasma groups, respectively, significant difference was mean (p = .03, Mann-Whitney test). Viral isolation obtained 90% transmitters, but only 44% subjects .02, Fisher's exact These show that levels positive culture must be considered as risk HIV-1.
