摘要: In the summer of 1981, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported clusters unusual infections (Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, now called Pneumocystis jiroveci) tumors (Kaposi sarcoma) among homosexual men in California New York. This was beginning acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) pandemic. Initially, infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) appeared to be associated activities, which led initial naming gay-related syndrome. However, it soon became clear that heterosexual direct blood contact could also transmit newly recognized pathogen. Since then, HIV AIDS have been spreading rapidly around world, affecting millions people resulting deaths. his speech at 2003 International Conference Paris, France, President Nelson Mandela declared HIV/AIDS “greatest health crisis history.”
