GA-based adaptive thinning strategy for pattern nulling in linear arrays

摘要: A strategy based on a genetic algorithm (GA) for the synthesis of adaptive thinned arrays is presented in this paper aimed to receive desired signal maximizing signal-to-noise-plus-interference ratio (SINR). Nulls or very-low sidelobes are placed directions interferences. Moreover, additional constraints number active elements considered obtain directivity. set preliminary results reported show effectiveness proposed approach.
