摘要: Five hundred and sixty two children adolescents, aged between 9 15 years, from one urban three rural areas in southern Norway, completed a questionnaire which they expressed their degree of preference for various animal species. The dog, cat, horse, rabbit were the favourite species, while crow, worm, bee, spider least liked. Girls more positive toward horses, pet-orientated than boys, boys girls preferred wild animals. Younger respondents liked animals did 15-year-olds, with few exceptions: wolf, bear, whale. Urban did, finding applied to large carnivores particular. Interests wildlife decreased increasing age, wished save ecologically-significant species (ants, bees, ladybirds) extinction.
