摘要: A review of recent literature focused on iodine determination/speciation in environmental, biological and clinical materials is provided. The covers the different sample pre-treatments to extract total iodine, as well specific iodinated forms, most used analytical techniques for assessing (cathodic stripping voltammetry, differential pulse neutron activation analysis, catalytic spectrophotometry, atomic spectrometric techniques, mainly inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry) speciation (nonchromatographic methods, high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography capillary electrophoresis electrochemical, UV spectrophotometric mass detection).
