摘要: Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common disorder worldwide. Estimates show that 10% to 30% of the world population affected by AR and prevalence allergic diseases drastically increasing in both developing developed countries. Ingestion honey widely believed be natural remedy reduce symptoms rhinitis. There are many theories addressing mechanism(s) action which may treat symptoms. Many these postulated as result research evidence garnered from animal trials. This systematic review evaluate human studies looking at whether ingestion can used complementary or alternative form therapy treating Methods: An exhaustive literature search was conducted identify relevant published papers using MedlineOVID, CINAHL, PubMed, Web Science keywords: Quality articles assessed GRADE criteria. Results: Two randomized control trials met inclusion One randomized, double blinded study 2013 demonstrated statistically significant reduction local group when compared group. Another 2002 no therapeutic effect for either commercial reducing Conclusion: The results each were contradictory. Both had limitations design methodology reduced their quality evidence. Overall low.
