摘要: Objective A clinical practice guideline for smoking cessation was released in Italy 2002, but to date little is known about the implementation of these recommendations among primary care physicians. The objectives this study were estimate prevalence receiving physician-delivered advice quit and determine what factors related receipt adult Italian smokers. Methods data collected as part 2004–2006 tobacco surveys (analyzed 2007), conducted by DOXA, branch Gallup International Association, representative population aged ≥18 years. Conclusions suggest that are not advising at high rate. Future research should focus on methods encourage counsel patient–provider encounter.
