摘要: A typing procedure for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) based on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of both mecA sequences and variable DNA as present in prokaryotic genome has been developed. Two primers repeats discovered gram-negative members family Enterobacteriaceae allow detection regions a gram-positive bacterium such S. aureus, does newly described arbitrary primer. This procedure, enabling 23 different genotypes collection 48 MRSA isolates, was validated by comparisons with phage studies. It appeared that within same group isolates only 13 phagovars could be identified. Combination results from genotyping allowed discrimination 34 isolates. However, depending primer-variable complexity PCR fingerprints, which also modulated combination primers, clear homologies between groups defined either or fingerprinting were observed. An analysis an outbreak geriatric institution showed genetically homogeneous In agreement typing, revealed identical natures strains isolated all patients. Images
