Ten percent (5/50) 6% (3/50) isolates were from cats, respectively. All possessed mecA gene found be resistant least three antimicrobials with a minimum Oxacillin MIC 8 μg/mL. One isolate (CT04) had extremely high >256 MLST type ST59 this have been reported earlier Singapore other countries as strain animal community-associated Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis revealed five pulsotypes. Two (CT27 CT33) (DG16, DG20, DG49) respectively assigned pulsotypes B D. suggests that Malaysia are potential reservoirs for MRSA.
