摘要: We present a molecular dynamics study of the interactions between two molecules naphthalene at air-water versus air-ice interfaces. In agreement with inference from our previous experimental work [Kahan, T. F.; Donaldson, D. J. Phys. Chem. A 2007, 111, 1277], results suggest that self-association is more likely to take place on ice surface than water surface. shorter average distance molecules, in conjunction stronger interaction energy and free association, point tendency self-associate water. The distinct behavior interfaces appears be due favorable liquid surfaces surfaces.
