摘要: We present a novel algorithm for the registration of 2D image sequences that combines principles multiresolution B-spline-based elastic and those bidirectional consistent registration. In our method, consecutive triples images are iteratively registered to gradually extend information through set entire sequence. The intermediate results reused following triple. choose interpolate model deformation fields using B-spline pyramids. Novel boundary conditions introduced better characterize deformations at boundaries. experimental section, we quantitatively show method recovers from barrel/pincushion fish-eye with subpixel error. Moreover, it is more robust against outliers—occasional strong noise large rotations—than state-of-the-art methods. Finally, can be used realign series histological serial sections, which often heavily distorted due folding tearing tissues.
