Consistent and Elastic Registration of Histological Sections Using Vector-Spline Regularization

摘要: Here we present a new image registration algorithm for the alignment of histological sections that combines ideas B-spline based elastic and consistent registration, to allow simultaneous images in two directions (direct inverse). In principle, deformations on B-splines are not invertible. The consistency term overcomes this limitation allows completely symmetric way. This extension method simplifies search optimum deformation registering with no information about landmarks or regularization. approach can also be used as first step solve problem group-wise registration.
