摘要: We present a new system for simultaneous morphological and molecular analysis of thick tissue samples. The is composed computer assisted microscope JAVA-based image display, visualization program that allows acquisition, annotation, meaningful storage, three-dimensional reconstruction structures interest in sectioned specimens. describe the detail illustrate its use by imaging, reconstructing analyzing two complete blocks which were differently processed stained. One block was obtained from ductal carcinoma situ (DCIS) lumpectomy specimen stained alternatively with Hematoxilyn Eosin (H&E), counterstain fluorescence hybridization (FISH) to ERB-B2 gene. second contained fully mammary gland mouse, Histology H&E. show how greatly reduces amount interaction required acquisition therefore suitable studies require morphologically driven, wide scale (e.g., whole gland) complex samples or cultures.
