摘要: The vitamin D receptor (VDR) mediates the effects of calcemic hormone 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3[1,25(OH)2D3]. We show that VDR also functions as a for secondary bile acid lithocholic (LCA), which is hepatotoxic and potential enteric carcinogen. an order magnitude more sensitive to LCA its metabolites than are other nuclear receptors. Activation by or induced expression in vivo CYP3A, cytochrome P450 enzyme detoxifies liver intestine. These studies offer mechanism may explain proposed protective against colon cancer.
