摘要: Three-dimensional scale models of the mitochondria log-phase cells Polytomella agilis were constructed on basis electron microscopy. These revealed a single highly complex mitochondrion in one cell and 4–10 two other cells. This study indicates that at some stage growth P. there is mitochondrion, possibly arising from fusion small mitochondria. observations are discussed with respect to respiratory activity this organism.
