摘要: Group velocity matching is a key to the performance of multimode microstructure fibers. Simulations show that only partial achieved using an intuitive graded-hole strategy, but usual velocity-matching limit can be by numerically optimizing designs. These results demonstrate perturbative multipole numerical method and are step toward improved strategies for achieving high-performance fibers transmission
