摘要: A new type of multimode fiber is provided, capable being constructed without the need for chemical doping. The contains a core region comprising first material and one or more axially oriented elements disposed in material. (which typically extend throughout length fiber) are configured to provide graded effective refractive index profile focused interaction with selected modes. further cladding surrounding region, where exhibits less than portion immediately adjacent i.e., there exists an step at core/cladding interface.
