摘要: A device for changing the power levels of signals transmitted by an optical fiber, along with signal modulation and wavelength routing, comprises a length fiber in which predetermined section core is surrounded cladding having one or more variable refractive index (VRI) regions disposed therein close proximity to core. grating region overlapping VRI region. The have refraction lower than that change effective guided light thereby define tunable grating.
