摘要: Hospitals are making big investments in various types of ICT, so it is important to investigate their effects on innovation and performance. This paper presents an empirical study this direction, based data for 743 hospitals from 18 European countries. We specified estimated econometrically five equations: one product innovation, process three equations the different dimensions (ICT-enabled) hospital All included ICT-related variables reflecting ICT infrastructure a series applications, some them hospital-specific, others general business use, also personnel (viewed as kind 'soft' investment), while performance two measures.
