摘要: In this paper, fully monolithic reconfigurable millimeter-wave filters are proposed using the CPW-based periodic structures with novel multiple-contact MEMS switches. Millimeter-wave low-pass and band-pass were designed, fabricated, tested. Three cascaded structures, intrinsic filtering characteristics, reconfigured into a self-similar single unit cell by operation of switches actuation. By switches, insertion loss can be reduced operating frequency ranges extended to millimeter-waves little increase loss. Additionally, number switching elements has been bias-decoupling circuits not required, resulting in very small chip size. The measured results filter show 3-dB cutoff change from 67 28 GHz 0.32 0.27 dB. center is tuned 55 20 GHz, bandwidth changed 32 12 while average 1.27 1.61 size including dc bias line 1.2 mm /spl times/ 1.5 4.5 mm, respectively.
