Visualizing Large Business Process Models: Challenges, Techniques, Applications

摘要: Large process models may comprise hundreds or thousands of elements, like activities, gateways, and data objects. Presenting such to users enabling them interact with these constitute crucial tasks any process-aware information systems (PAISs). Existing PAISs, however, neither provide adequate techniques for visualizing abstracting nor interacting them. In particular, PAISs do not tailored visualizations as needed in complex application environments. This paper presents examples large discusses some the challenges be tackled when respective models.
