摘要: Abstract In this work, pin-on-paper abrasion tests were carried out to investigate the effects of size and volume fraction a reinforcing phase on wear behaviour multiphase materials. An epoxy-bronze composite was used as model material, for which applicability limits different rules mixtures are shown. Deviation from expected is related pulling metallic particles has been observed when interface stressed. Cast tungsten carbides have shown high in thermally sprayed NiCrBSi alloy, but higher than about 0.3 did not greatly improve behaviour. The study shows importance relation groove generated by action an abrasive grain. This relationship could be guide selecting wear-resistant
