摘要: Zonal electrophoresis resolves two aggregates of poliovirus type 2 cytoplasmic polypeptides. The more negatively charged aggregate contains mainly noncapsid viral-specific polypeptides (NCVP) and x, whereas the other consists capsid (VP) 0, 1, 2, 3 (VP0, VP1, VP2, VP3). After treatment with sodium deoxycholate (DOC), sediment at 5 to 6S. Their electrophoretic mobilities are unaffected by DOC or RNase. polypeptide is similar in mobility virions but can be converted a faster form, resembling empty capsids, heating. If infected HeLa cells allowed synthesize presence iodoacetamide, no produced, rather NCVP1a (the precursor polypeptides) accumulated, along NCVP2 NCVPx. When analyzed centrifugation, uncleaved migrates NCVP2-x aggregate. cleaved capsid-like vitro using extracts cells, not uninfected indicating either virus-specified protease cellular enzyme activated during infection. cleavage cell extracts, which produced dissociate from complex.
