摘要: Abstract Objectives To analyse public attitudes towards access for non-citizens to publicly funded health care and assess the factors that affect such attitudes. Study design Cross-sectional study. Methods Data from 29 countries were used a multilevel regression, data four (United States, Sweden, Philippines, Korea) linear regression. The collected International Social Survey Program (ISSP), World Bank, Organization Economic Cooperation Development (OECD), United Nations. dependent variable was considered be agreement non-citizen care. independent variables included: gross national income (GNI), coefficient (GINI), sex, age, education, household income, employment, insurance, self-related status, chronic illness, percent having employed, migrants, of expenditure total domestic product (GDP), social GDP. Egalitarianism education policy (EEP), egalitarianism (EHP), willingness contribute an egalitarian (WCHP) also examined. Results In surveyed, more than half citizens agreed should have Agreement with statement had negative trend respect GNI. insurance WCHP significantly positive association while those relationship. USA, EHP, positively associated agreement, females inversely agreement. inverse females, postsecondary coverage, EEP, EHP significant associations Korea, self-rated status association. Conclusion Public allowing present high levels variation, even among developed or similar GDPs. specific socio-economic conditions within country individual's own social, demographic, economic background can different effects on non-citizens. On global level, coverage plays important role enhancing public's non-citizens’ policies tailored toward based situation each region are necessary.
