摘要: Abstract This study describes the payment category of 397 low-income Hispanic women and relationship to compliance with family planning visits first year postbirth. Only one-fourth returned for one-year visit, when they would have received well-woman care. Pay was not a factor in identifying those who returned. Health system barriers, patient cultural beliefs, life circumstance may explain why enter then leave apparently seamless systems To increase preventive care, more is needed interventions that build on women’s existing prescriptions health behavior by professionals portray postbirth checks as wellness checks.
