摘要: 2 researchers from the US Centers for Diseases Control analyzed 1988 data on 8450 15-44 year old women living in to examine health screening rates and determine characteristics of who had undergone before interview. 67% a Pap test or pelvic examination screen cervical cancer. breast 82% their blood pressure taken hypertension. 95.2% 91% 96.3% visited as family planning clinic just once last received cancer hypertension respectively. The corresponding figures did not make any visits were 51.9% 54% 74.6%. In fact strongest predictor undergoing all types was visit (odds ratio [OR] = 13.6 examination; OR 9.1 testing; 6.7 examination). This strength maintained regardless paid visit. Other indicators care use (e.g. using oral contraceptives being currently recently pregnant) also fairly strong predictors screening. Yet at high risk necessarily have highest rates. with lowest sexually inactive less educated low-income Native American Hispanic Asian Pacific Islander descent. These results indicated that number times woman uses disease determines probability having among women.
