Hybrids of Passiflora: P. gardneri versus P. gibertii, confirmation of paternity, morphological and cytogenetic characterization

摘要: Two new varieties of interspecific hybrids Passiflora have been developed from the cross between P. gardneri versus gibertii, both registered under Society International. Twelve putative were analyzed. Hybridization was confirmed using RAPD and SSR markers. Primer UBC11 (5′-CCGGCCTTAC-3′) generated informative bands. Pe75 has amplified species-specific fragments a heterozygote status observed with two parent bands 300 350 bp. The molecular markers analyzed for presence or absence specific Based on morphological characterization, we identified hybrid varieties: ‘Gabriela’ ‘Bella’. produced flowers in bluish tones, petals adaxial abaxial faces, light blue sepals green corona base filaments intense lilac color white apex. ‘Bella’ dark whitish edges cytogenetic analysis verified that same chromosomal number as parents (2n = 18); formation bivalents homeologous chromosomes (n 9) observad, leading to regular meiosis, which allows sexual reproduction use these breeding programs.
