摘要: (Hybridization among wild passionflower species). Passion fruits are appreciated for their ornamental value, since flowers showy and display a wide variety of colors. In addition, many hybrids have been produced used in other countries. The genotypes selection plants with characteristics hybrid progenies which various crossing strategies. Thus, the aim this work was to obtain interspecific hybrids, perform backcrossing from crossings between determine reproductive compatibility progenitors involved. percentage fertilized flowers, germination, number fruits, seeds obtained through were recorded. A series 374 involved seven species two hybrids. Crossings such as Passiflora gibertii N. E. Brown vs. P. kermesina Link & Otto alata Curtis did not produce seeds. largest (86%) recorded gardneri Mast.vs. cincinnata Mast.; yet, show endosperm. Interspecific alata, watsoniana gibertii. Seeds generated backcrossings involving sublanceolata (sin. palmeri var. (Killip) J. M. MacDougal) foetida L. (HD13-133 HD13-141) F2 reached high germination percentages.
