摘要: One of the key themes in knowledge management is role information systems designed to facilitate sharing and reuse – often referred as (KMS). However, intended users such are reluctant use them, implementation failures common. While prior research offers important insights into problems practices IS general, little known about special involved implementing KMS. This study seeks better understand process KMS establish a theoretical framework for examining underlying dynamics adoption use. We suggest that efforts implement need be sensitive social interactions collective sensemaking if they successful. In making this argument, we build on recent within field network economics highlight concept effects. Using an exploratory case illustration, argue exhibit strong effects these create positive feedback loops complicate process. Our conclusion interesting useful analytic perspective understanding organizations. Implications using lens both practice discussed.
