摘要: Abstract The extensive use of Ni-Cr-Mo-V high strength steels in modern marine environment poses increasing requirements for accurate characterization the fatigue crack growth (FCG) behavior their welded joints. present work reported a study on new generation steel concerning mixed mode FCG its joint. Effects microstructure and welding residual stresses (WRSs) were emphasized. It was found that 4% compliance offset criterion conventional ASTM procedure 10% normalized suitable determination opening force weldments. A effective stress intensity factor range parameter as driving proposed, which yielded fairly good correlation data. Acicular ferrite with basket-weave weld metal exhibited favorable resistance relative to base material preferred attained master or intrinsic curves basis proposed provided basic database design employed structures.
