摘要: Abstract Detailed preliminary assessment of subsurface is required in potential site for CO2 re-injection order to ensure safe and viability the project. Using 3D seismic data analysis well correlation, a located onshore Niger Delta Basin was assessed re-injection. The result indicates multiple reservoir units across stacked stratigraphy, indicating storage intervals. Well correlation using four wells has further revealed laterally extensive, thick sealed at supercritical depth favorable geosequestration. Traps are found be mainly structural consisting collapsed crest rollover anticlines. Growth faults dominant type overall style within field simple with minimal complexity. In triangle analysis, leak point characterized by sand blocks low shale smearing shows high tendency leakage. However, this would only case if injected exceeded maximum supportable column heights which can obtained fault seal modeling basin.
