摘要: The interaction between soot and NO formation in a laminar axisymmetric coflow ethylene/air diffusion flame was investigated by numerical simulation. A detailed gas-phase reaction scheme simplified model were employed. results show that the of has little effect on soot. However, significantly suppresses NO. peak concentration emission index are reduced 28 46%, respectively, due to influence is caused not only radiation-induced thermal effect, but also reaction-induced chemical effect. Relatively more significant, causing 25 38% reduction, index. competition for acetylene (C{sub 2}H{sub 2}) formation. consumes thus lowers rate radical CH. This reduces CH + N{sub 2} = HCN N, which rate-limiting step prompt route, dominant route studied flame. (author)
