摘要: A sustainable national policy on waste electronic and electrical equipment reuse has to ensure an integrated environmental economic social approach. In this paper, a quantitative model is developed that permits comparative analysis of re-use non-re-use scenarios from perspective. The demonstrates the importance considering user consumption profiles changing electricity generation portfolio in determining best end-of-life strategy, whether it should be or recycling. case study Ireland used demonstrate model. From perspective, qualitative aspects reuse, such as job creation potential impact prosperity for low income families, are also considered. Reuse white goods, if conducted through enterprises, will create more employment than equivalent amount recycling those most vulnerable unemployment. Any dividends can realized only context economically system. This would include factors secure supply suitable equipment, competitive cost base sufficient revenues sales other sources order business survive. attempt examine goods program could possibly operate manner with new appliances, examined examples comparable businesses operating EU well interpreting data consumer demand.
