摘要: We constructed a cavity QED system with diamagnetic atom of {sup 171}Yb and performed projective measurements on single nuclear spin. Since Yb has no electronic spin 1/2 spin, the procedure polarization state verification can be dramatically simplified compared pseudo-spin-1/2 system. By enhancing photon emission rate 1}S{sub 0}-{sup 3}P{sub 1} transition, measurement is implemented for an time T{sub meas}=30 {mu}s.
