摘要: Carbohydrates are an extremely complex group of isomeric molecules that have been difficult to analyze in the gas phase by mass spectrometry because (1) precursor ions and product successive stages MS(n) frequently mixtures isomers, (2) detailed information about anomeric configuration location specific stereochemical variants monosaccharides within larger has not possible obtain a general way. Herein, it is demonstrated gas-phase analyses direct combination electrospray ionization, ambient pressure ion mobility spectrometry, time-of-flight (ESI-APIMS-TOFMS) provides sufficient resolution separate different methyl glycosides stereoisomeric having same configuration. Reducing sugars were typically resolved into more than one peak, which might represent separation cyclic species configurations and/or ring forms. The extent separation, both with reducing sugars, was significantly affected nature drift adducting metal or complex. study ESI-APIMS-TOFMS rapid effective analytical technique for simple can be used differentiate configurations.
