摘要: The availability of variety communication devices offers a choice among networks with vastly different characteristics. No single protocol or application can be expected to perform well over all these networks. A mobile host is likely encounter and needs adapt accordingly. problem adapting changing network environment further complicated, because changes in conditions are usually transparent higher layers the stack. In order allow automatic adaptation applications protocols, awareness link necessary. this paper, we present uniform mechanism based on ICMP messages for providing information about We also show how protocols environment, particular, demonstrate dynamic fine tuning some known such as UDP TCP. Performance measurements that our framework imposes little overheads improves performance under conditions.
