摘要: A modified International Tundra Experiment (ITEX) was carried out on the glacier foreland of Rotmoosferner (Otztal, Tyrol, Austria) to study effects changing microclimate. Two early successional species (Trifolium pallescens, Poa alpina f. vivipara) and one late (Carex curvula) were transplanted open-top chambers (OTCs) control plots in 1996 1998, respectively. The OTCs left field site also during winter. As a consequence, snowmelt occurred at least week earlier OTCs. Growth dynamics followed over five three year periods, Trifolium plants harvested August 2000.
