摘要: The recent economic boom in the Canadian province of Alberta provides an ideal “natural experiment” to examine immigrants' responses a strong labor demand outside major metropolitan centers. key finding this study based on unique data set that combines administrative and immigrant records is not only did immigrants respond Alberta, but their response was generally stronger than nonimmigrants. We also find, however, great deal heterogeneity magnitude across different regions for categories immigrants.
