摘要: The all-trans→13-cis⋅9-cis photoisomerization reaction of retinal in aerated nonpolar solvents has been studied by femtosecond time-resolved ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) absorption spectroscopy. excited-state spectra the wavelength region 400–800 nm indicate that there is no isomerization pathway complete electronic excited singlet manifold S1, S2, and S3. ground-state bleaching recovery all-trans monitored near UV (ultraviolet) 310–390 shows a perpendicular state (p*) takes part reaction. lifetime p* about 7 ps, precursor most probably S2 state. quantum yield derived from data agrees well with those determined HPLC analysis photoproduct. temperature dependence indicates existence potential-ene...
