摘要: Abstract An opposite stereoselectivity is observed in the reduction of 3α-hydroxy-5β-7-oxo-cholanic acid by alkali metals and sodium dithionite, contrary to results reported with other cyclic or bicyclic ketones. electron-transfer mechanism followed coupling ketyl radical suggested for dithionite.
