摘要: Abstract : Additional attention is given to the somewhat subtle but extremely important difference between Coulomb friction and apparently corresponding resistance plastic deformation. It shown that limit theorems previously proven for assemblages of perfectly bodies do not always apply when there finite sliding friction. Theorems are developed which relate loads with extreme cases zero complete attachment, also case where frictional interfaces "cemented" together a cohosionless soil.
