Multivariate Analysis of the Ocular Response Analyzer’s Corneal Deformation Response Curve for Early Keratoconus Detection

摘要: Purpose. To thoroughly analyze corneal deformation responses curves obtained by Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA) testing in order to improve subclinical keratoconus detection. Methods. Observational case series of 87 control and 73 eyes. Examination included topography, tomography, biomechanical with ORA. Factor analysis, logistic regression, receiver operating characteristic were used extract combinations 45 waveform descriptors. Main outcome measures corneal-thickness-corrected resistance factor (ccCRF), descriptors, their diagnostic performance. Results. Thirty-seven descriptors differed significantly means between groups, among them ccCRF afforded the highest individual analysis identified first- second-peak related as most variable one. However, conventional hysteresis keratoconic A combination three factors including several did not show better performance than a indices. Conclusion. Multivariate ORA signals surpass simpler models detection, there is considerable overlap normal ectatic eyes irrespective model. Conventional indices seem already provide best when appropriately considered.
