摘要: In this paper we examine the role of stratification in setting scale for turbulent anelastic convection. Motivated by range scales observed convection at solar photosphere, perform local numerical simulations a density contrasts large domains. We analyse both Eulerian and Lagrangian statistics demonstrate that increasing shifts most energetic structures flow to smaller scales; furthermore relative amplitude vertical horizontal flows decreases with stratification.
