Comparative effects of monoamine oxidase inhibitors on monoamine oxidase and diamine oxidase.

摘要: Abstract The effect of several monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors and related compounds on guinea pig liver MAO diamine (DAO) was examined in vitro after administration to animals. results showed that the possessing hydrazine moiety inhibited both DAO, while two phenyl cyclo propylamine did not affect DAO. Hydrazine derivatives which block retained a DAO inhibitory action. After iproniazid rats, long reported time for drug disappear from tissues; this finding suggests action as well MAO, is “irreversible”.
