摘要: Conformational dynamic and enthalpy changes associated with pH induced unfolding of apomyoglobin were studied using photoacoustic calorimetry photothermal beam deflection methods. The transition between the native state I intermediate was by a nanosecond jump from o-nitrobenzaldehyde photolysis. Deconvolution waves indicates two kinetic processes. fast phase (τ < 50ns) is characterized volume expansion 8.8 ml mol−1. This process followed contraction about −22 mol−1 ∼ 500 ns). Photothermal measurements do not reveal any on time scale ∼100 μs 5 ms. We associate structural occurring during intermediate. lack processes ms may indicate absence events involving larger conformational after jump.
