摘要: Government transparency is critical to cut government bureaucracy and corruption, which diminish political accountability legitimacy, erode trust in government, hinder citizen engagement performance. Previously, Jakarta's local governments lacked transparency, holding high-level meetings under a close-door policy, sustaining fundamental flaw policy-making fueling inefficiency corruption. Social media radically increased the speed, reach of information. Yet, social media-enabled has not been sufficiently investigated. This research presents strategic use YouTube by new "open doors" other reform-oriented activities for greater transparency. We conducted an analysis 250 government-generated videos on viewed liked 7.8-million net-savvy citizens. conclude transformational leadership's will are keys advancing facilitating with government's reform initiatives.
