摘要: This chapter is to, through an unconventional field-based and service-based education programme for undergraduates studying in the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), determine whether self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) diving association with relevant training on marine conservation effective teaching intervention environmental education. The aim this was to promote participants’ action competence protection. A team seven undergraduate students, enrolled entitled Courier Marine Stewardship at EdUHK (Courier MS EdU), were trained knowledge about protection, basic skills undertaking ecological study. Upon completion their training, transferred experiences educational talk local pupils participated community services Reef Check 2015 seabed cleanup. Based a post-programme interview members, found have enhanced acquisition solid positive values first-hand learning experience, which turn strengthen conserving protecting ocean. difficulties organizing such included financial logistic constraints, risks associated diving, leisurely expectation students hindered cognitive attitudinal outcomes activity.
